Volunteer Summer Counselors Needed

Waterman Conservation Education Center

Help children discover the enchantment of the natural world as you support our teachers. Become part of our teaching team as you work with teachers to organize lessons and teach programs, maintain teaching areas, supervise recreation periods, and introduce children to live animals.

      Every week starting July 9th through August 31st.

      Requirements:

      1. You must be between the ages of 14 and 17 and be enthusiastic about working outdoors with children ages 5-11.

      2. You must volunteer for a minimum of 3 weeks and be available weekdays from 8:00am - 4:00pm. (weeks need not be continuous)

      3. Applications are due by May 1, 2006. Call the Waterman Center at 607-625-2221 for an application or more information.
