Pictured below is Atanycolus, a type of wasp able to detect and parasitize EAB larvae. While this may have limited impact on our affected trees, it is a hopeful sign for the future of Ash trees. Images courtesy of Jeff Smith

The mission of Waterman Conservation Education Center is to promote conservation education and environmental literacy. We serve our members, the citizens of the Twin Tiers of New York State and Pennsylvania, and all visitors to our wildlife refuge system.
312 Marshland Road
From Waterman Center take Route 434 west 2.2 miles from Hilton Road. Turn right on west end of Marshland Road. Take third driveway on the left.
546 East Front Street
Directions: From Route 17, take exit 65 to 17c west toward Owego. Travel approximately
1 mile. Turn right on East Front Street. A parking area is a few blocks on the right.
5400 Route 434
Directions: Apalachin Marsh is located between the east and west-bound lanes of Route 17. Access to the site is from Route 434, about one-half mile west of Hilton Road. Turn right and walk through the opening in the fence under Route 17.
150 Robinson Hill Road
From 17 West take the exit 70 N and turn left at the light. Continue on Harry L. Drive west. Harry L. Drive turns into Watson Blvd 1.0 miles. Take Watson Blvd .09 miles then turn right onto Country Club Road. Turn right onto Robinson Hill Road. The entrance to The Glen is about 1.2 miles up Robinson Hill Road on the right-hand side.
From 17 East, take the exit 70 N and turn left at the light. Continue on Harry L. Drive west. Harry L. Drive turns into Watson Blvd 1.0 miles. Take Watson Blvd .09 miles then turn right onto Country Club Road. Turn right onto Robinson Hill Road.
Pettus Hill Nature Preserve
Travelling Eastbound on Route 17 from Binghamton, Take Exit 77, West Windsor.
Turn right at the end of the ramp, drive about 100 yards and make a left turn on Fox Farm Road.
Go .5 miles and turn right on Roberts Road Go .4 miles and turn right on Abbey Road.
Go .6 miles and bear left at the “Y” intersection. Go .1 miles to where the road crosses the power line right-of-way. Turn left and drive about 50 yards along the right-of-way to the parking area along the fence. The chain on the entry gate is loose enough to admit pedestrians, but not vehicles.
