About the event

Bird farewell to summer and welcome fall migration season!

Join naturalist Michelle for a beginner-friendly birding hike at our IBM Glen preserve. We will look and listen for the many birds that call the IBM Glen home, including Eastern Towhee, Gray Catbird, Red-eyed Vireo, and American Redstart! Birds may be high up in the tree canopy, so we will be listening for singing birds even if they are not visible.

Sturdy footwear is recommended, as trails may be muddy and steep at times. Binoculars are recommended but not required, as we will be birding both by sight and by ear.

Registration is required and limited to 15 participants.

$5/person for non-members and FREE for Waterman Center members.
