About the event
It’s slimy boy season! Join local naturalist Cam Winzinger for a guided walk at the Waterman Center to learn about our local amphibians, their wide variety of adaptations, and how to safely observe them.
Spring is the best time to view our local amphibian species as many move to find mates, breeding sites, and food after a long winter slumber. These critters are more diverse than you may think, with dozens of frog, toad, salamander and newt species calling New York State home.
$5/person at the door. FREE for Waterman Center members and children under 5
