From a tiny hummingbird to a 20-pound strutting Tom turkey, wild birds intrigue and inspire us. Rick Marsi has been watching and photographing them for more than five decades. Come along with him as he describes his favorites in this who’s-who of local birds and beauties from around the world. Informative as well as eye-catching, “Birds!” explores the lives of hawks, owls, shorebirds and herons, along with popular backyard songbirds. During the program, Rick shares interesting facts about all of them. You’ll also learn how to identify birds in the field, tell them by their calls and attract them to yards and bird feeders.
