About the event
Join us for presentations by local experts about different aspects of the Susquehanna River! Our ninth presentation will be on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 at the Waterman Center. Heather Gulliford is an AEM Specialist with the Tioga Soil & Water Conservation District. She will be presenting Trees of the Upper Susquehanna. Learn about the common and not so common tree species in our region. She will go over identification tips and tricks, ethnobotanical uses, fun facts, and environmental benefits of our region’s trees and their relationship with other organisms. Also learn about tree planting grant opportunities and other tree related services available at the Tioga County Soil and Water Conservation District.
This program is free for Waterman Members and $5/person for the General Public
