Anna Garcia Llewellyn has been a licensed wildlife rehabber with NYSDEC for 7 years, as well as a licensed veterinary nurse at Cornell University. She will be presenting a rehabber’s goals, some of the things she takes care of, daily chores, and our role in conserving wildlife species around us.

About the event
Join us for presentations by local experts about different aspects of the Susquehanna River! Our ninth presentation will be on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 at the Waterman Center. Anna Garcia Llewellyn has been a licensed wildlife rehabber with NYSDEC for 7 years, as well as a licensed veterinary nurse at Cornell University. She will be presenting Wildlife Rehabilitation: Our Role in Conservation. She became a wildlife rehabber a month after her 18th birthday, and has been fully submerged ever since. “It has become not only an interest, but a major asset to my life and something I take much pride in.” She will be presenting a rehabber’s goals, some of the things she takes care of, daily chores, and our role in conserving wildlife species around us.
This program is free for Waterman Members and $5/person for the General Public
