Come play outside with us! 

Forest play days encourage preschool-aged children to explore the natural world with all five senses, utilize their imaginations, and have joyous interactions with our wonderful forest. Themed sessions include songs, games, stories, hikes, STEM activities and unstructured free play. Each session concludes with a snack enjoyed around our campfire.

Parents will need to accompany children for the duration of the session but are encouraged to let their child take the lead.

We follow the forest school ethos, which is that the session will go on in all weather (except lightning). Since children use all senses to learn, wear clothes that can get muddy.

Attend all sessions for $20/child or pick and choose for $8/child per session!

Session Descriptions:

April 30- Reptiles - Come explore the world of these scaley-skined creatures.  Learn about the reptiles in our area and how they are featured in indigenous folklore.

May 7- Numbers - Numbers are everywhere in nature!  Come learn numbers by counting all of the things we find in the forest and playing games together!

May 14- Mini Beast Safari (Bugs) - Insects are everywhere!  Pretend to shrink yourself down and explore their fascinating world by going on a bug hunt and learn how to use a magnifying glass.

May 21- Rainbows - We live in a colorful world.  Learn about where all of the colors come from.  What's your favorite color?
