Wonderful Winter Wildlife Walk
Bring your family for an activity day filled with crafts, fun, and facts at the Waterman Center! Join whimsical costumed guides and learn about local animals' special abilities to survive the cold. $8 per person, Kids under 3 - free, groups of 4+ $25. Free books and take-home activities included!

About the event
Join whimsical, costumed guides for a winter-themed activity day at the Waterman Center! Â Can you imagine living outside all winter? Learn all about the fascinating ways that different animals adapt to the cold through a brief guided walk along a trail decorated with beautifully hand-painted animals and taxidermy. Â Warm up by making several crafts in our interpretive building! Â The Family Reading Partnership will also be on-site to provide every child with a free book!Â
Admission includes a guided hike, crafts, and a free activity grab-bag for the next snow day. Â Hot beverages will be available. Â Cost: Â $8 per person, $25 family/group maximum (4+ people). Â Children under 3 are free. Be sure to indicate how many adults & children are in your party when registering. Â Limited ticket sales will be available at the door, space permitting, so register soon to guarantee your spot!
