About the event
Join whimsical, costumed guides for a winter-themed activity day at the Waterman Center! Can you imagine living outside all winter? Learn all about the fascinating ways that different animals adapt to the cold through a brief guided walk along a trail decorated with beautifully hand-painted animals and taxidermy. Warm up by making several crafts in our interpretive building! The Family Reading Partnership will also be on-site to provide every child with a free book!
Admission includes a guided hike, crafts, and a free activity grab-bag for the next snow day. Hot beverages will be available. Cost: $8 per person, $25 family/group maximum (4+ people). Children under 3 are free. Be sure to indicate how many adults & children are in your party when registering. Limited ticket sales will be available at the door, space permitting, so register soon to guarantee your spot!
